RAPS - How does it works with the program providers?

Because of marketing reasons often program providers are interested in certain program numbers.
Their names are again-reflected in ( for example "das Erste" on program place 1).
For new transmitters RAPS is extremely interesting, of course. They are represented immediately
on the transmitter lists of the RAPS receiver! They were never seen somewhere else
because people do not use the channel search.
A prime example for the application of RAPS was the conversion of the ARD transponders.
A lot of money was put in the customer information and specialised trade information.
There were hotlines for the consumers to support the new setting of
their Satellite receivers. RAPS user did not note the conversion. They just got it.
In a cooperation interested program providers are welcome.

RAPS - How does it work with the manufacturer?

In general RAPS is an open system. The manufacturers who would like to
use the advantages of RAPS for their customers can contact us.

RAPS - How does it work with the cable net?

Topically RAPS is to be received only directly about ASTRA 19.2°.
