RAPS PLUS X awarded!
The Automatic Receiver Programming System RAPS was established in May 2009
with the prestigious Plus X AWARD. The prize went to the system for its
ease of use.
The Plus X AWARD recognizes manufacturers for the quality advantage of
its products. RAPS, as an innovative and modern product, was
on the shortlist selection of the jurors, and convinced the jury to be awarded.

RAPS is now even "smarter"!
HD Receiver (eg MX92) automatically replace SD and HD broadcasters with the same content. Thus, for example Arte HD is placed on channel 8 for a RAPS-HD receiver, at the
RAPS-SD receivers, everything remains as before, the SD version of Arte
is situated on the 8th place.
Atra 23.5 E was integrated into the RAPS-List. So the list was enriched trough some programs, such as TV Vlaanderen or Telesat. The pay-TV package "Canal Digitaal" was extendet in relation to the transmitters on Astra 23,5 E. There are also news for the Czech RAPS-users. The list now includes the Czech Section "Ceska" with the pay-TV package "SkyLink".

Channel search, sort channel lists, adapt favorites lists - These changes are time consuming and annoying for receiver users.
The smart electronic GmbH therefore relies on the intelligent channel search system and implements it in all its receivers. And the RAPS statistics 2008 shows: RAPS saved entire 14 hours of every user!
According to the recent statistics there were 1.693 changes, made by RAPS automatically. This means 228 changes on ASTRA, 948 changes on Hotbird and 517 changes on Turksat.
So RAPS users had an tremendous amount of time saved compared to TV viewers who had to make all changes manually.

Smart offers the the first HDTV receiver: MX92 (supports mpeg4).
The satellite receiver also enables customers with HDTV reception to use the automatic updated RAPS-TV and radio listings.
